You should ask the post office in your area.

I am from Singapore and Paypal Check is not an option. You can however withdraw to your local bank account and it normally takes about 5 working days to get your money.

Don't play with paypal much by changing names, addresses n all. You never know when they will go mad and freeze accounts.

Simple solution can be, ask your bro to open his own a/c in Singapore and then send the $$$ to his a/c and he can transfer it to his bank a/c which happens in a max 1week(not 100% sure). :)

Yes, I agree with Humm. You cannot just change a name in the account and assume that Paypal will not think that something is suspicious about the account and may just lock up both accounts.

Besides if you opened the initial account in India, you cannot change country and thereby cannot add the Singapore Bank account.

Paypal advises that if you move countries is to cancel one account and open a new one in the new country.

Have your brother open a Paypal Singapore account, get it verified with a Singapore issued credit card and add a Singapore bank account then he should not have any problem withdrawing funds.

You could also remit paypal funds to his account too.

If you happen to be from India just use Xoom to transfer funds to your Indian Bank account inyour name.(It takes only 2 days and all Indian use it)

Here is a more detailed thread info on Xoom.

Also use the code: XOOMLTINO to avoid Xoom transaction charges.
