    3 months time is impossible for new domains fighting in a strong niche. 6-12 months for new domains and 3-6 months for aged domains is my answer.

    You will never, ever complete SEO. You need to be constantly working on your websites SEO, on-page and of course off page, constant link building, tweaking and obvioulsy keyword research, as your website becomes more popular, you'll find that your readers/users will go and discuss your website elsewhere, which will give you even more backlinks, plus more traffic, but you still need to work!
