I have a desktop with 8 GBs of ram, AMD cpu, a notebook and a netbook with 1366x768 resolution in my home and all are working fine. What about you? Edit: Syntax Error!
LOL, does it even start with 8 MB of RAM? Well I have desktop with 4 GB of RAM, 500HDD, Intet G41 CPU, 1 GB Nvidia G force and 1600X900 Screen. and a Macbook pro. By the way does it matter?
Usually Cpu and amount of ram are mentioned. Maybe the most important things which effects performance are type of cpu and amount of ram. Ram is a matter for me because I want to learn if someone still using computers with 1 or 2 GBs of ram. Thanks.
Just 8MB of RAM? That takes me back a long, long time. Damnit, I feel old now. I remember one time when I had 3 PCs, an iMac and a laptop. That was just for me living alone, far too many, I think. Now I'm married and have a stepdaughter. In our household we have two tablets and two laptops. I mostly use my tablet or smartphone these days. My stepdaughter always just uses her iPad 3. Oh, and we have a Raspberry Pi that we use as a media player (and sometimes development server).
Sorry, not confusing but there is syntax error ! Of course MB should be GB. I'll correct it.. Thanks.
1 mac book pro, 1 hp note book (RAM 2GB, HDD 320GB, AMD), 1 Compaq pressario (250GB HDD, RAM 2GB, Dual-core)
I have Core I3 500GB, HDD, 4GB RAM and a Lappy with DUAL CORE 3rd Generation,500GB HDD, 4GB RAM and 2GB graphics Card
I have two Hp laptops, a MacBook Pro and two desktops, plus a wide array of tablets and, of course, my Galaxy Note II phone. And, yes, I actually do use every one of them. I just can figure out which one I want to configure into a multi screen array so I can downsize a bit.
I have got 1 coputer system core 2 due 3.0, and i have 1 apple mac book and one laptop Dell inspiron core i3 with 4 gb ram, 500 gb hard disk , windows 8 and i like this and using it right now. Is it cool guys?
I have a storeroom full of computers. Most of them are just boring retired boxes and laptops that aren't worth anything, but most of them are still working so I can't justify throwing them away. I think I've got an old Cyrix somewhere with 8MB RAM in it. My *favourite* computer starts with 5K of RAM, and has only 3.5K available for the user once the OS loads.
I don't think that I can answer to the extent that some of you have by giving the specifications of the computers, but I know that at my house we have 7 pcs that are currently working and 5 laptops... that is for 4 people. It does help that my father and brother are electrical engineers and so they have purchased some of those computers and fixed them up...
I have a desktop pc and a laptop at home and a tablet and a smartphone always with me But i have a lot of stuff in a few data centers around the globe
That's so cool that they are electrical engineers! Though that is quite alot for 4 people. My home has half as many as those computers but none of us really use them (or know how). We are not really a tech savy or up to date on that stuff in my family so taking an internet commerce as really helped me!
I have just one laptop, personal computer and my lovely smartphone. So it means i'm not fashionable that i don't have a notebook?
Kerosene's comment made me think about the IndieGogo project that is going on right now called Keepod (see project: http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/keepod-unite). Basically, it separates the operating system from the software. I am not a hardware guy, so I don't know if this is possible. They say they have done it, and if they are legit I think this will make a big impact on the computer world! Oh, between my wife and I we have 4 laptops, 4 Desktops, 2 hard drives from past laptops, 2 iPhones, 1 Android phone (more for just storing images now), and 1 iPad. I do think this probably overkill, but we like be plugged in.
