Well guys... By June this year, I will set-up a company specializing in SuperComputer. Any suggestion or comment?
An iMac G5 at home. A Compaq laptop at the office. I'm about to buy a MacBook Pro laptop for travel in our pending retirement.
I have four in my office -- a windows box, two linux boxes and a laptop. At home, an old windows box and a laptop.
i used to have 3 computers but the first one is not working anymore, the other is used by my brother at the seminary and 1 in our home... i haven't tried connecting since im not familiar with network until i went to college...
I have more computers than I realisticly need, just can't get rid of the older ones, worth virtualy nothing but still functional and it would seem wrong to just dump them. They include- An old pentium 3 PC, a more modern Athlon 64, an old powermac G3 and an even older powermac 4400, a clamshell ibook and an eMAc. And I am tempted to get either a newer Mac or a PC laptop.
I have 4, 3 desktops and 1 laptop. I still have an 11 year old 486 66MHz plugged in. I keep it alive for nostalgia reasons and just can’t bring myself to retire it. It actually still functions as a license server and a little extra storage space. I don’t need it for that, but it’s nice that it still stays busy. When it was new it had a whopping 8M of ram, a massive 540M hard drive and a screaming 2X CD-ROM drive.
Just one at the moment, a functional one.. I have under the bed an old AMD K6-2 system.. Planning to build another Windows box and lose it at my parents' place.
I own three (2 desktop +1 lappy) I love my lappy.... And I am very cruel to my desktop one... Well it's a very nice servant to me...and very loyal... Manish
I have probably a dozen. most of which are in pieces or totally shit. I have three decent machines: my main computer, my pvr, and my laptop.
