    Dear All

For the first time today I am seeing the log reports from a click tracker that I installed and its scary. Sometimes there are 4 to 5 clicks from a single ip.

My question: how many clicks should it take to press the panic button?

    is 4 to 5 normal?
    thanks in advance,
    cheers

If you are paying for those clicks, i would report it to google if that happens on a regular basis.

I think it is very possible for someone to be genuinely interested enough to click 4-5 of your ads. I don't think it's much to be alarmed by. Google knows who clicks your ads.

Sometimes it can be normal for people to click on the same ad a few times. Instead of taking note of the URl they rather click on the ad to go back to your site.

I would definately not be worried about 4-5 clicks...your crazy man. Adsense is making everyone crazy!!! LOL.

Seriously though, it shouldn't be a problem.

My guess is around the same time. It happens all the time with adlinks. You click on a keyword, find a page, click on it. Doesn't like what's there, you press the back button, click on the next link, etc. It's nothing to get excited or worried about. I suspect Adsense has figured this "repeat clicking" scenario into things when they invented the adlinks to begin with, otherwise they'd be banning every single site that uses adlinks, as this is primarily how people click on the adlinks.

    Question?

Why would this be a problem. Is google banning account with multiple clicks?

I guess when your total CTR isnt that strange they let it be. Else everybody could get competitors get banned.......or is this really happening?
