I'm working on a script to avoid invalid clicking ... I need to know how many clicks are allowed from the same user?
I was thinking that there's a limit, otherwise how do they know if it's invalid clicks or not? Does the user has to visit the website he clicked for a certain ammount of time, let's say 30 seconds or more? If he clicks an AD and after 5 seconds he closes the website, that would result in an invalid click, right?
Nobody can tell you that for sure dude, only google knows... They analyze everything. probably yeah, if a user clicks an ad and closes the window right away, they will count that as invalid... But if he clicks an ad, see the page, gets back and clicks another, they probably won't consider invalid..We can't know, we can just guess.
hmmm, I don't think it's a good idea since a visitor may click from 1 to 10 times if he is dump enough.
Google doesn't mention that number. In fact, Google rely on more than one method (i.e. IP address) to trace invalid click. http://www.dagsensecodes.com/2006/11/ways-that-google-detects-invalid.html
Looks like I won't be doing that script anymore, according to these conditions and your replies, looks like you can get 10 clicks from the same person, if they are valid clicks, you will be credited... anyway, you can be banned even for 2 clicks if they are not valid, so the utility of the script i was thinking is no longer valid...
i dont know if there is a specific amount of time... there isnt really a way to pinpoint the answer...
i think the click depend on geopraphic, how fast is clicking, a website.. and more.. maybe is different for each website and account.
