How many characters in title ?

it should be small not exceeding 70 Char.

 

Too big, unless you're OK with seeing them trunctated with a ... in the search engine results pages.

 

Title should be arounf 65 to 70 characters. if it is greater than 70 characters. in SERP it will not be visible like Doctors | Top Indian Doctors Online | Best Doctors India | Online ...... . it it is show as a .... people will get irritated. better it should be between 65 to 70

 

A great and catchy title of 6-9 words that include one or two most targeted keywords... It works great... needless to say, the title should look professional too.. not too catchy to be realistic..

 

Up to 80 characters it is better. If you want to write there is no problem but your full title will not be displayed in the title bar of the browsers. So there will be the same if you write or not write long title.

I recommend only to the extent that shows up in explorer bar without getting truncated..

 

The best practice is between 8 - 12 words.

 

prefer upto 60 to 65 because the characters more than 65 will be truncated and showed as ..............if it is shown like this the visitors will not show much interest to visit that site
