No cell phones... though my son 13 is constantly hounding us for one! We will probably get a couple some time in the next year, but won't use them much. We're not *phone* people. We only have a landline because we need it for our broadband connection (not wireless), we hardly ever use it and practically all the bill is just the line rental etc, not calls! Annoying!
3 people - 3 phones. A Nokia for my father (I don't know what exactly, but it's kind of old). Samsung E600 for my mother. Sony Ericsson K700i for me. I am thinking to buy Nokia N95 soon...
Actually, mostly via email. All my friends/family have email and use it regularly. Most of my friends are within a specific group (local home educating families), which has an online yahoo group, so any group meet ups are done through group postings. Individual arrangements we just email each other. And family members often tend to do stuff by email mostly... and not because I don't like phones much as such, it just seems to happen that way naturally. My sister is out so much that phoning her is pretty useless... I call my parents now and then, but mum has physical problems which can make getting to the phone hard for her at times, so I don't do it a lot. We see them a couple of times a week anyway, so I just tend to send emails in between. Our last monthly phone bill had 9 calls on it... so you can see how little we use it.
