Its all about the adword who is paying for particular keyword. I have seen many websites which are earning 5 to 10 $ per click. My suggestion for you is that you should select a niche which is based on high paying keywords. Before one year i was running site on regional topic. I only earned 0.01$ per click but now i am running site on finance and credit, now sometimes i get 2$ to 4$ per click. So use some high paying keywords.

It all depends on your eCPM, the average eCPM is around $5 (correct me if i'm wrong), one of my site has about $10 eCPM but now it is going down..
its variable, one site may earn 5 dollars the next might earn nothing. just focus on increasing your traffic rather than worrying what set amount can get you especially when its as low as 100.
Yeah , You are right .. I have a site with 1500 Uniques per day , and I used to earn like $1 per day ( $2 was my record ) ctr was like 0.2% or less :S. So I removed adsense ads and moved to pay per month & cpalead ads which pay way more .
You will not know the certain amount that you can earn from those 100 unqiue visitors because adsense does a random amount when someone clicks your ad, it maybe $1, $5 or even $0.1 per click. Just have a consistent visitors and you can earn.
I guess google has some mechanism to distributes $ for adsense. if you are earning $5 aday google will give you $5 from 10 valid clicks, the other day google will give you same amount from 25 valid clicks.
