Hi All I would like to ask you simple question: How many blogs you have? me ? 5+ mostly related to Online Traffic School Course. Please don't post any Urls
I have: 1 ecommerce site (main job) 2 websites/blogs which I am getting ranked highly in order to rent out 1 blog which I am in the process of starting. It's been sat there for 5 years doing nothing.
Oh, and a couple of domains with just content on building a couple of backlinks each week incase I ever want to use them.
I have 4 you can see those in my sig. 1 general blog 1 celebrity wallpaper 1 mobile phn 1 credit card
i have only one blog, on which i have posted about 40 posts. and i am trying to increase traffic to my blog and i am searching on youtube but its not working properly.
I use to have about 4, but I've narrowed it down to just one now and it's my everything I love having one because all my time can go into it and it's ten times better than the four I used to have.
I've got about 20 sites running on WP. Of those, about 5 are 'blogs', and the rest of them use WP purely as a CMS with comments/user interaction disabled. I've also got a freebie Wordpress.com blog that I post on about three times a year, but that really really doesn't count
I've got 5 right now with 2 of them currently active and the other 3 kind of being worked on the side.
I have 2 that I update everyday, and starting another this week. I have 2 others that don't require daily updates, and I can honestly say I neglect them and am just holding on to them for possible resale value on the domains. The one I am starting this week, is a combination of 2 others that I started in the same niche, but neglected as well because of many issues, so those will go on the market as domains for sale, and the new one will pick up where they left off. @hamada2588 : Congratulations on the new baby !
I'm going to be a bit different. I only have ONE. I don't see why people start more than one. I'd think two should be the limit. How can anyone manage more than 2 blogs -- unless their outsourcing. My plan is to have one quality blog. I've always felt it's quality over quantity. I don't think anyone can manage 10 quality blogs.
It's not as hard as you think. I can update 3 blogs before breakfast. It takes a while to get them to the point where news, and information comes to you, instead of trying to come up with blog posts everyday. It also helps to have fast equipment, multiple monitors, and staying on top of your niche, even when you aren't working, so that you will always have information about the niche in your head. You can tell the difference in a blog where the writer actually knows the niche like the back of his hand, and enjoys it, and a blogger that sat down..opened up Goggle and came up with something to write for the day...blogging like that is a losing battle. It's like trying to write a song, with a book of sheet music in your hand so you can combine already existing songs to make something original...worthless. That is why "we" always say, blog what you know and it won't be work. Just blogging for a high paying keyword, is work, because you don't know it. if you blog about things you know and enjoy, you can have as many blogs as you have interest and knowledge. To answer your question, people have more than one to diversify niches and make more money.
You make some good points. I guess it just takes experience to get to that level. I might consider starting a second blog soon.
