Check out the eBay affiliate blog that I did for the WebKinz niche and tell me how you think it looks. Bear in mind it is onlt two days old and I have not even begun to tweak it yet, but still it looks very clean and it is focused in a VERY TIGHT niche and only to drive ACRUs and ebay auction sales commissions. WebKinzToBuy.com ANYONE can build a site like this with Wordpress and RSS feeds Gregg
Basically if you're letting them run on auto-pilot and they're each making a positive return you can (and should!) add as many as possible.
Most of my eBay stores are pretty light, so bandwidth isn't really a problem. There's no image hosting obviously (thanks to eBay), and my script is pretty tiny. Plus, I host my sites on the same reseller accounts that I use to host my client's sites - so I let them pay for the bandwidth You're under pressure to create another 5999 stores now If you have 50 sites all using similar code and layout, with only minor variations in content, they all leave a similar 'footprint' for the search engines. Some people think this is a big problem, some people don't care about it at all...
I build an auction site with Wordpress and RSS aggregator http://devthought.com/wp-o-matic-the-wordpress-rss-agreggator http://auctions.naruto-store.com I will buy BANS next month so I thought it would be helpful to provide a side by side comparison (BANS and WP)
A little variation of the thread subject but ... Am I spending too much time on 1 site? Thanks to this thread I'm doing my 1st site like this - using Wordpress + phpBay. So far I have about 12 hours in and am about 85% done. I figure I still have a full day left with keyword research, writing a few articles and finishing off the site. Probably another day after that for promotion. From reading this thread - sounds like there is a lot to be said for quantity of sites ... am I focusing too much effort on one?
Not much use in having quantity if they all suck Spending time on your first eBay site can never be a bad thing - it just makes it all that much easier when you make your second site, then third, etc... Take the time to learn how it all works, it will pay off in the end
Wordpress and phpbay or any other php script that can be used to put ebay auctions within posts, is a powerful, i say again and better, a VERY powerful combination, because with this combination you can provide the best of two world: content and selling items. With bans you also can do this, but not so powerful like the wordpress/ebay-php-script combination.
I just created my second dealing with Iphones. It's nothing like my gaming consoles website. It has a bunch of content that gets updated automatically. Everything from news, video, pictures, and more, plus the auctions of course
Please get banned... HOW ON EARTH ?! did you manage to find a thread over a month old ?? Report him guys, don't let the trolls take over this forum!
