How many backlinks require to bring website in top 10 results in Search engines.

 

That is impossible to say, there are many other variables to consider, such as: how competitive your niche is, the amount of backlinks that your competitors websites have, the quality of your backlinks, etc, etc

Add above 50 sites with good pagerank of 4+ in your link page. And post your site in the Forum, Directroy submission, Blogs, Socialbookmarking, etc....

 

I believe that depends on the web site and that depends on the number of the links. Sometimes one link might be enough to be there

 

It simply depends on the search term you want to rank for, anywhere from 1 to millions. The more competion for a search term, the more links you normally need...but it's not just the number of links, relevancy and trust are two main criteria.

As everyone has said, there is no one correct answer. For ultra competitive niches you might need hundreds or thousands. For others you might not need any. So don't stress about finding a particular number, work on creating good content that people naturally link to and using other solid SEO practices.

 

Not only a backlink matters for good ranking in searh engine. There are many other factors which affect keyword ranking in search engine. So first follow those rules

 

It really depends on the competition and effectiveness for your keywords. Sometimes you can get to the first page or even #1 with one or two good links. Sometimes you can get 100+ quality links and your still stuck on page 3.

 

Concentrate on getting quality links, links related with your site domain.

Higher you get quality links, better will be chances of your site for high ranking.

That is a good question. Mainly it depends on the keyword mostly, and deffinatly the competition. A good way to find this out is to go to the site that is ranked 10 and then get some info on them...

 

I have seen sites on the first page of google with a PR of 0. When I did a search to see how many sites were linking to them, they might have had 2 or 3 sites.

Backlinks are important, but they are just one small piece of the big picture.

It depends on competition, if competition too much then there is no limit you would build more back links then your compititor.
