Some say back link are responsible for a page rank of a website, so how many backlinks do i need to have at least PR 1. Can someone share there knowledge... anything will be appreciated...
The old formulas don't work. It's not a question of quantity any more it's more more a question of the link juice coming from the links. In other words, the PR of the page (not the site as some people call it) that you link is on and the number of links on that page that are all getting a bit of that page's link juice.
Google updates PR every three to four months, so if your site is relatively new you won’t have any PR yet. But for “quick†rise of PR you have to have backlinks from authority sites with high PR and, Some links from .edu and .gov wouldn’t hurt either. regards
try to get high page rank links it helps you to get page rank to your site also..i dont know how many backlinks = 1PR...but page rank is not important concentrate on offpage submission your keyword indexed first page in major search engines
if your site has quality content, google index page and keyword in ranking i think then you get page rank soon
PR of any site does not depends of no. of back links,It depends of quality of site or backlinks. Quality means content of your site,Keywords, effective Title, uniqueness, proper directory submission bookmarking etc. By doing this you can get good PR for your site.
all you guys thank you so much for a huge knowledge you share on this thread.. And here's the site that i'm talking Davao City Jobs Directory. tell me what improvement should i do on this..
I think you need more than 2000 links with zero pagerank to get to PR1. Check this site out : checkpagerank.net/linkpack You will find a complete chart for the amount of backlinks you require for certain pagerank. Make sure whatever link you buy or exchange have good value in google and with high genuine pagerank
For good pr quality does matter, quantity does not.site with some quality back links can have a good pr.
don't duplicate your content by coping from other site this shows negative effect on your site and page rank
I would think the .edu and .gov of this realm are hard to get links from correct? Do search engines really consider those as a premium to other TLD's?
google Google PR and they give you the formula that was used at one time for PR. It's probably changes, but it still gives you an idea of what they are looking for...
