We have seen that on the last two PR updates.

 

What do you mean by this? They aren't changing the formula every time or anything... that would be crazy!

 

The article lost credibility in the second sentence of the second paragraph, which begins:

It's actually PR N/A < PR0 < PR1 < ... < PR10

And where do people keep coming up with these hokey-ass numbers and factors? (That's a rhetorical question; I already know the answer. )

Many people who are selling and buying links care about page rank.

 

No one can say how many backlinks you need for a better Page Rank! except Google!

 

No one have such knowledge except Google.

 

you should get always new backlinks. The more the better for your PR. But PR is not important for your search results. Try to get traffic.

 

1) I do, as one part of a total approach to producing a quality website.

2) Google does.

 

Agreed of what you've said here...

Google always the Big boss to play with the PR and we all such as the seekers that never find any precise clues on it...

 

I remain dumbfounded by how often this erroneous statement is made by DP posters. Please explain how PR is not important for search results, when Google (see below) says it is directly related to better search results.

Speaking an untruth — such as "PR is useless" or "PR has no effect on SERPs" — over and over again will not make it suddenly become true. That strategy (repeating an untruth long enough over time) only works in politics.

There is no matter in number of back links.... If you have 1 or 2 quality back links thats enough.... Dont need to run with 1000 back links

I have one site Back link is only 1 ... thats my inner page... But PR 3....

 

Bloggers who sell 3900+ backlinks from their network of PR0 blogs are scamming you. That doesn't work to raise PR. What you need is a handful of high PR backlinks from related sites.
