How many backlinks should I increase per day?

I think there is no limit of creating good and quality backlinks each day, as many as you can for ranking high in search result of a search engine.

 

The first week aim for 10-20 / day. Try for a combination of article directories / web 2.0 sites (hubpages / squidoo / wordpress) / forum posts / social bookmarks.
Then try to INCREASE your links / day with 10-20% / week. This is called link velocity. You need to accelerate your link building so Google sees your site with better eyes! "WOW, more and more sites link to this site! We'll get it on 1st page of our search engine asap".

Link velocity / link popularity / link diversity / link relevancy. Google each of these terms and read everything. Also check SEOmoz for their SEO articles + subscribe to a few seo gurus' RSS feeds using FEED READER.

That's the best advice i can give you right now. Now go back to work and start building those links!

 

You can get how many links do you want.
Do you know how many sites are listed in Google? Do you think that G can every day watch at them and at their backlinks? And how G can say if these links are natural or not to give penalizations?

Don't worry about the number.

As much you can but get links from non spammy sites.

 

I feel along with quality the number of backlinks is also more important. It can be from sites belonging to different subjects, having different pr. That would look natural also.

You can create lots of quality back links for your website in a day.

 

There is no set limit. It depends on your site. If it's new, then a large number of backlinks will look unnatural and suspicious. If your site is already established, then any number should be fine as long as you increase the number of backlinks per day gradually.

If it's a new site, you can start adding a few hundred within a couple of weeks, after that you can add a lot more. I've only heard of penalties for new sites that suddenly add 1,000+ links.

I'm currently very active in 3 forums, doing about 20 posts on each forum everyday, each post has a signature with 3 backlinks to 3 different pages within my site
That's 180 backlinks a day. I know that to many people 180 backlinks is nothing, but I just wanted to say that google isn't penalizing me at all, instead it has helped my SERP alot!

 

I think if the domain is new and you get / buy many links from higher ranked domains, your domain goes to sandbox.
am I wrong ?
