How many backlinks per day is to many?

I understand that getting 1000 backlinks in a day can be a bad thing for a sustainable business model.
So, how many backlinks per day is too many?

For example I am looking at using a software that post PAD files to 600+ freeware and shareware sites in a day but I need to know what negative effect this might have because of how unnatural this might look to google.

Also how many backlinks in general including all traffic sources - articles, PAD files, web 2.0 sites, videos, etc. is to many.

How do I figure out the balance of getting a lot of backlinks fast but not too fast as to upset google?

    Thanks in Advance

PS If I just went all out and got as many backlinks as I could everyday, say 1000+ how long before that site is deindexed by google?

It's not the #, it's the quality. I had two new sites that got the temporary boot with just a single one (pr 8 page link). Most of the shareware PAD file links are very low quality so you should be kinda safe, especially if the site has already been running awhile :)

how long does a temporary boot from google last?

If you got a few hundred backlinks of lower quality and then a PR8 would you still get the temporay boot?

What if I got like 5-10 PR6-PR8 in like a week along with a few hundred lower quality links would this make a differance?

Those links have to be DoFollow otherwise you aren't getting any link juice.

I don't know about how many backlinks you want to get everyday, but as long as you give quality to each post and submissions and keep out of spamming sites... :)

The site is just a static salesletter that will not be updated much. I will only be adding a couple of things here and there, like links to an optin page.

Any feedback about this topic would be appricated.

    Thanks

PS The sites links are not live yet but you can check it out if you want at crackcodeking*com
I am also trying to get feedback on the copy.
Warrior forum actualy banned me forever for posting a copy review request of this products copy

I also need to add that I am not trying to seo this product because it is one of those products that most people are not looking for because they don't know that it exist.
I am considering seo for free ebooks but that keyword does not have much commercial intent.
any suggestions of keywords to seo for would be appreciated.

I am also running into another problem with seo for this project. I am going to create seperate directories for different promotional methods ie. crackcodeking*com/dp.

The copy will not be much different for each page targeted to each different promotional method and I will run into the duplicate content penalty from google.

    Any suggestions on this?

I believe 1,000 is it's capacity, however, it can raise some suspicion with Google if your up to 400 one day.

Remember it takes time for Google to even fully crawl sites, so if you got 400 backlinks, in Google's eyes it can only be 50 because it didn't crawl everything yet.

Don't you think that 100 links a day is too much? After 10 days you have a 1000 links...it's a lot in that short time, isn't it?

its depend on lot of conditions like

niche, domain age, content upadate time, no. of pages etc. etc.

i m suggest if u have new domain approximate 1 month age. then up to 50 bl per day is ok.

You'll get a number of different opinions on this so I'll throw in mine as well.

My experience has shown that the size of the site plays a role in how aggressive you can link. A site with 300 indexed pages is probably OK trying to get 20-30 links per day. I'd be careful with a single salespage as you can only link to that page. 30-40 links per day linking to a single page, irregardless of varying anchor text, will probably raise a flag.

You also might want to consider varying the locations where the links come from. 100 links from shareware sites over 2-3 days may set off a flag as well. Maybe try varying it up a little. 10 links from no follow blogs + 10 links from various do follow blogs+10 links from freeware in a day. It looks much more natural in terms of link building.

Another thing keep in mind is not all sites approve a link the same day it is submitted. Even some of the freeware/shareware sites you are talking about submitting to will take 2-4 days to approve and list the link.

    Good luck either way.
