How many backlinks per day is safe?

As the title says, how many backlinks per day is it safe to create? I hear about 5 per day is good and anything more is overboard. Any opinions on this?

 

If you can 100 That also no problem but it should be organic way if you do not break Google rule to do build link os it;s not harm, it also factor what type of link you want to build like off page or on page?

 

So your saying I can create 100 backlinks per day and it won't look fishy to google? I plan on creating anchor text in relevant forums, blogs etc. I would love to add more then 5 backlinks per day to speed up the process but I just want to be on the safe side more then anything.

 

you can get 1,000 backlinks a day for weeks at a time and it isn't going to look fishy
When I was giving away free styles, I would get 1,000 new backlinks a day, this went on for 4 or 5 weeks and google loved it.

 

Seriously? Why am I hearing from everyone to build links SLOWLY? I hear that it's so important? and what about google sandboxing you for submitting too many links at once that I hear?

 

A lot depends on how you are building backlinks. It should look as naturally as possible to Google.
I think it is hardly possible to post 1000 comments on blogs or in forums manually. So if Google notice there 1000 blog/forum posts a day with a link back to your site you can expect of getting penalized.
Also you need to take in account, you should keep up with the amount of backlinks you build daily. So it won't help you at all do create 100 backlinks every day for maybe a month and then the air is out and you come down to maybe 5 a day for the next couple months. Choose an amount of backlinks you feel comfortable with and you know you can keep up on it. Creating quality backlinks in a naturally way without spamming is time consuming.

No criteria has been set up for Google back links you simply need to maintain quality back links by abiding all the rules and regulations in "G" eye.Breaching of its rules may penalize your sites.
Secondly getting backlinks to a particular website is time consuming process its not a one night dream so better to create slowly but in an authentic way!!!

As we all know, google give more value for continuous seo work on page and off page seo. If your site is new then start seo work with directory, page update, link exchange 3 or 4 link per day. If your site is 1 to 2 or above year old then you can increase no of link exchange per day 4 to 5 in continuous way.

There is not exact properly number of link buildings. However, you should begin with the number you think you can acquire them regularly for a period of time.

Example - If your website has acquired 100 links in the first month. It would be make sense to acquire around 80 - 120 links in the next month afterward. However, if you had acquired 100 links in the first month then 10,000 links in the next month. It would be looked suspicious from Google perspective. There is some exception case. ie. Major News site like CNN.com / Major social bookmark site like Digg.com.

You link number should be reasonable, or at least can answer when Google algorithm do question on your link profile and how them originated.

 

is not how slow of fast you do it. It about working your links in an exponential manner. 100 - then 150 and so on. also the domain age is a factor here. if a new site is indexed today and tomorrow you have 1000 links... i dont know for you but for me thats wierd.

Your link building should look ethical so you should not build 1000s of Backlinks in a day..It's a slow process so you should be patient and should work according to the ethical rules.....

my site with 50k page index (according to GWT), back link come automatically and traffic keep growing daily too ..... so time frame is myth from google ..

I think 100 links in a month is safe.

 

There would be a problem, If you get lot of PR7 or PR8 backlinks in a day, there is a chance to Google may ban your site.

 

There is no specific criteria for getting backlinks. But your site will not be harmed until you keep everything natural.

Here's what I mean by natural:

Day 1: You get 5 Links
Day 2: You get 5 Links
Day 3: You get 100 Links

Now this is what really looks UN-NATURAL. Till day 2 you were getting 5 links per day (which is natural) and on day 3, you got 100 links, now that's what makes things suspicious.

Also, make sure you always:

- go for ethical ways of getting links
- avoid link farms
- avoid link exchange (Spamdexing/irrelevant link exchange)

I think you focus on good quality back links which are related to your business and have good pr otherwise it's totally best time to getting 1000 backlinks

 

i think the criteria is
Alexa Rank and Age of Domain.

Whis 50M Alexa rank and 2 days domain get 1000 backlink it's to much.
But if Alexa rank 1-2M and and half year or year domain 100 backlinks per week it's normal.
