I know a guy who build a lot. He willingly goes into the sandbox and emerges 3 months later in a good postition. This is the alternative to building slowly.
As much as you can build but the technique should be organic SEO method no use any blackhead method so there is no harm
It does not matter how many backlinks a day, since there is no guarantee that search engines pick up all the links. What is important is the consistency. The best is to get 10 links to each web page (or each blog post) per day, and to get a few more for the website. If you have 200 blog posts, and at the rate of 10 backlinks per blog post, you are looking at 2,000 links per day.
I dont see why you can't get 200-300 per day. I have never had an issue with it, and don't forsee ever having an issue with it as long as you don't start doing things that are fishy... Imagine for a moment...that if you have some information on President Obama and you leeked it...would your site not get thousands of backlinks and trackbacks in a single day. Now Google isn't going to sandbox your site, it will be raised to the top of the rankings because more than likely you will have quality backlinks. You only start to get hurt if your backlinks suck.
i think it would be better if you get 10 or 20 quality backlink (pagerank, incoming link, outbound link, same topic) a day, rather than 50 or more ordinary link a day. Google will prioritize quality backlink and your site will grow up in the search engine
