Yesterday I made many backlinks at reddit. Now I am worried about being banned by googe. I read an article saying that if you build too many backlings, Google will notice. But how many is too many? How many backlinks I should build in a bookmark? If I have two different ID and each ID makes 30 backlinks, I will have 60 backlinks. Can I do that??
Here's the deal: although back links can help, they can never hurt. If back links could hurt a web sites ranking, then it would be easy to destroy your competition. All you'd have to do it submit a ton of links to their site. I could become number one by getting everyione above me kicked out. Not going to happen. I do recommend, in order to keep you proppgation of your links looking 'natural'; that you vary them. Mix up social book marking with blogs comments with profile backlinks, wil web 2.0 properties, with articles. Grow steady over time and you'll see you site start to go up in the rankings.
What you are doing is fine. You would have to submit a huge number of backlinks in order to get noticed; bear in mind that if you were to use different sites they would be found at different types too. As long as you stick clear from dodgy sites, you have nothing to worry about with what you are doing.
You need to quantum your work as per your competition sometimes. Like which kinda keywords you are targeting, is it a generic one of a long tail key phrase. So just analyse the actual competition and go after drafting a proper plan. Building 100-200 fresh but quality backlinks in a month is fine almost as being in quantitative reply. And you should include various activities of organic link building not just bookmarking like, social news tagging, high page rank link building, groups-blogs marketing, question-answer sites participation, review sites profiles and so on... You will get a good fruit if will do all the things in proper and diagrammatic way.
I think what google is trying to avoid is automated type tools that aren't "natural" looking. If I throw up a website tomorrow and then use some automated tool to get 5000 backlinks this week, google will not like it, because it is not the natural progression of linking. My experience is that it is more important to have steady backlink creation as opposed to a whole bunch all at one time, and then none.
Go slow in the beginning. Try to get quality links rather than building links from crappy sites. For e.g. Getting a PR3 link from a quality site weighs more weightage than getting probably 10 PR0 links. SticKer
I say again, Google will not use inbound links against you. They can count for you, but never against.
Social Bookmarking Backlinks are a great way to get your website lovable to Search Engines but make sure, you are not doing all that in 2 days...Its a slow process yet very good to get link juice.
Build as many as you like, Google cannot penalise you because it's technically beyond your control who links to your site and who doesnt. Just be aware that Google can now detect 2, 3 and 4 way links etc and will not attribute link value to link obvious exchanges. Also bare in mind that if your submitting to directories they won't all be acepted and won't all be acepted or indexed at once so even if you submit loads at once the links will still apear graduly.
See, there is no such pronblem with backlinks, and there is no such limit. Google will bank, if you are doing wrong or use blackhat techniques.
Too many backlinks on a new domain may trigger the sandbox effect, but I wouldn't expect that for just 60 links.
you should develop a link plan or try to find one, that focuses on new and aged sites. You don't get banned from google for getting inbound links but if your link building doesn't seem "natural" you can get sandboxed. If that does happen, continue with your linkbuilding efforts and eventually you will pop up in the search engines again.
If you are worried about it, do not throw all of your can of link building worms into the same basket. Diversify, your link building as I can promise SMO/SB links are not going to get you to the top in ANY competitive field. It will take much more than that.
