how many backlinks do youbuild per month ?

has excess of backlinking ever hurt anyone of you ?

 

I build more up one website for week . Then i have one backlink "strong" ( follow your talk ).
Also, i exchange banner and post article to some other site of friend and got 10 backlink per week ?
Is it enough ?

 

I beleive in quality over quantity, So i usualy concentrate on 10-20/Month relevant niche links with High PR.
Pligg powered social bookmarking and dofollow blog comments are my main source for Strong back links.

 

Yes, I remember 2 years ago when I was working in a SEO company, they build 2000 links in one week for one of their site and after 3 days site get banned in Google

 

I believe 2000 in a week is not that high considering softwares like xrumer can get you much more than that in 1 day but i have always believed in spreading the link over a period of month or two .

it's very important to build the backlinks in the niche your site is,otherwise is useless

 

Is building backlinks manually the best route to take or is it ok to use software to help automate the process (any recommendations)?
Also what is the typical appications to success rate to aim for.

Lots of people automate posts to blogs using a script, leaving their backlink.

As a blog owner, I hate this! One, because I hate this garbage (non human - not genuine) being posted in my comments, and TWO, I personally would not want to SPAM my sites to other sites this way.

Of course, being an amatuer webmaster, my opinion doesn't hold much water.

 

I don´t know much about backlinks so far,because I am newbee in affiliate marketing,but I signed up with one service,where I can write articles and get nice amount of uniqe one way baclinks from each one.I don´t know right now about quality of these backlinks

 

Month before last, 20

Last month, around 200 or so. next month month i'm shooting for 10,000.

After that, i expect about 20,000 per month.

All white hat, very little work on my part.

I aim for at least 20 a month. More the better, but my aim is always a minimum of 20.

I would aim for more, but i dont have alot of time.

I recently ordered 3 backlinks on 80 indexed blogs, hoping it will improve my rankings.
But my site is not professional; I receive about 85 visitors each month...

 

Don't be surprised if your rankings go south. You are gaming Google.
