If you own the website then learn to negotiate in the right way. You can negotiate as how you want it as long as you get the most relevant yet with good PR. Work wisely.
i thought i was about quantity where some says they'll submit my site to about 500 directories. hope those directories with high pr help increase my pr. if people don't care about PR, then they shouldn't open, read and reply to threads like this. of course they care.

you can make a PR2 for for a site and only with backlinks from PR0 pages (I speak from experience). Add your site to > 100 good directories and you will see the result. Also the content of your site, the site optimization and the number of the exit links are important for obtaining a good PR. To obtain a PR2 is easy. Hard is to obtain a PR7. Many people says that the PR is not important, but all are looking for a good PR.

pagerank fluctuates so focusing on quality may seem important but really you need to just get links. If you get high pr ones then great but those ones might go down when pr is reset again. Focus on quality content and people will link to you. Get as many backlinks as you can. How many do you need? thousands, depending on your topic
50 back links is too small, aim for quality back link and continue to do it consistently, you will see improvement within a short period of time.
50 backlinks might be enough, if they are quality ones. Check your PR again, the PR-update is happening this week, so your PR could be higher than zero now
Thats very much right. webmaster spend most of the time seaching for ways to get backlinks... i suggest others to out source it!!! even the contents out source it!!! invest time in keyword research and experiments products/ad placements and see the money rolling into ur bank account
