How many backlinks are enough?

Hi there,

I want to know that how many backlinks from the related sites are enough to get the website in the top ten in Google with certain keywords.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

It depends on the authority of the backlink.

 

i think nothing is enough in this regard! You must be looking for building more and more!!!

 

There's too many variables, like how competitive the term is that you are ranking for. You will just have to test it.

 

it all depends on the phrases you are targeting.

for example to rank #1 for monkeys travelling to the moon to find bananas would take no backlinks to reach (id hope)

yet to rank #1 for just the term monkeys would take a lot of relevant backlinks

I was thinking something like this sometime ago.

But then answered myself that there is nothing like enough. If possible I want 100,000 backlinks to get started.

Right now I am just at 10,000 or so.

More links along a period of time are not going to hurt you.

don't ask this kind of question ... just get relevant and quality links ... and then you'll see the diference

This is so true, there is no point where you can relax and feel you don't need to do any more link building. Google and many other search engine results that are organic are constantly updating and constantly recalculating the relevance of your website for a particular term.

You must also remember that your competition is also out there trying to get that higher ranking then you. They are are in the same boat as you, all rowing towards getting that first place rank. So the best policy would be to continuously attempt to build your organic links.

there is no limit for the backlink. more backlinks allways rocks
