How many Back Links to become Top 100

    Hi All

    I would like to get expert thoughts regarding a link building challenge. I have a site where I want to listed for Google top 100 for the keyword -"One way link"

    But there are around billions of sites listed under this keyword. So increase my site position to Top 100 is a big challenge.

    So my question is;
    (1) How many backlinks, I need to achive the target ?
    (2) Is there any tool to predict no of backlinks need for a search engine position ?

    How long is a piece of string? That is how vague your question is. It depends on competition. And what is the point of being listed #100? You still wouldn't be getting any traffic for that keyword.

    It's not possible to say how many links u need. You have to target good quality links with high PR and you will definitely get ranking.

    "the more the better!" with so many competitors you really need to work hard on getting more BL that you needed to be in top 100! but don't forget that quality links will help more...:)

    It is hard to say how much backlink. But try to get quality backlink that's will help you to achive higher ranking in short time.

    I agree that quality links are more important. Counting the number of links is a bit pointless if they are not quality links.

    I don't know why are u asking this question? We are not Google Owner who wud tell you

    Untill and unless you wud not try no one can tell you what you need to do?

    Till now there is no tool but i am sure after watching your thread someone wud decide to develop such tool for u..................
