I submitted two articles with isnare, and the Digital Point keyword tracker is showing thousands of additional links in Yahoo. I haven't found one yet with pagerank though..

We do a lot of work with iSnare and other article marketing services like Internet Marketing Auto Pilot. I can tell you that you usually see a big spike in links from articles, then they start to drop off as the months go by and the search engines recognize duplicate content. The real test is how many backlinks Google recognizes from these articles -- usually not many. That's why we suggest a very consistent approach - send articles every month. We also recommend press releases and other link building methods to make sure you are covering all your bases.

Well said. I totally agree with that.

However, Isnare seems down. I don't know what's hapenning with them. I submitted some articles lately included for paid distribution, but they are not reviewed.

I send them emails, and even registered in their forum, but no reply!

I use Article Marketer, only a one time life time fee. I agree that iSnare seems a little costly. I have rec'd a number of back links in google from submitting articles, but it take months and I sent out an article every two weeks for over 6 months. I think consistency is the key.

Also buzzle dot com is a good place to submit if you are looking to get actual traffic from it, I have a few articles that show up on page one of google for long tail search terms.

Isnare seems to send out to a lot of lowend article distribution sites so don't expect a lot of PR from there, But it's still worth the $2 in my opinion.

I also submit to several others that I get most of my higher PR sites from. I don't think it's good to limit yourself to just one distributer.
