The only real way to know is to test and measure. when you get to the point that writing articles is not getting a good return for your efforts then try something else.

Everyone has pretty much touched on every part of this question. I like to write an article on every piece of the product, focusing on buyer keywords to start like review, buy, help, and anything pertaining to the product like ebook, video, pdf, etc.

After I do that, I tend to move onto market keywords like CPA marketing or PPC, depending on what kind of product it is. Then I move into converting keywords like free traffic, make more money, etc. It's all dependant on what your product is.

There is no magic number. Just write until you are making the amount of money you want to make on the site you are promoting and you will keep making money after you stop. This business takes time and commitment to make it and the more you do, as long as they are high quality information, the better off you are.

I think the article you write is something that needs to be looked at versus simply HAVING one on an article site. Many use reused, spun, plr articles and so forth. The effort one puts into their landing page needs to go into their article writing efforts.

Pretty much you are writing something with content that will get people to step two which is going to your site to learn more. If that isn't happening then odds are it is your writing that is holding you back versus simply having an article up.

I advise every article marketer to read this advice and act on it.
It compresses everything you need to know into two sentences.

    Thanks, Moneyhungry

I usually go with 10-15 per page per submission site. So all said and done I usually go with 30-40 in a week or two per product.

I agree with many people here that quality of the articles is very important while promoting a product.

Perhaps the old adage about quality over quantity applies. The vast majority of dross in Ezine you wouldn't want read, in many cases it's positiviely incapable of being read. However, the gauge of the quality of your writing should be calibrated against what's available in your niche, and not what's available in your niche in article directories.

I'm quite new to this article writing thing. I'm trying to promote my new website selling hdmi accessories and have written this article:

    www.content4reprint.com/technology/cable-and-satellite-tv/methods-of-home-video-distribution.htm

(sorry not posted enough for links yet).

Is this the sort of thing I should be writing?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

It cannot be specified with a certain nUmber. article submission on once or twice in a week is good but should use other SEO techniques together.

I dont think the number really matters all that much, the keywords in the article are the main factor but I would say if anything a week or so
