My question are as follows, to make a successful blog how many articles should you be writing per day and what should be the general lenght of each article, I normally aim for 2-3 paragraphs but is that enough? Also how many articles should I aim to archive for example should I write 10 articles a day until I build up 100 articles and will that even matter? Also is it ok to sample other articles or source content, does google and SEO's look down upon doing this, can and will it lower your earnings ratio.
It's ok to source material. In some instances, you really have to. Just don't do the entire article/material. I'd recommend doing 1-2 posts a day. Make sure they're of substance and not just re-hashed information from other news sources. Try to add your own voice to the mix. Thats whats going to make people come back to your site and continue to read your blog. Check out www.performancing.com too. They have excellent articles on starting and developing blogs.
The answer to your question really depends on what your objective is. Good quality content that is focused is the best guidelines. Add to that the idea of keeping it focused and not 'wordy' or 'numbers'. Today's average reader has a short attention span, so you don't want to go too long or you will lose the reader. From an SEO perspective, you still want good quality content that focuses on a topic. You do, however, also want to make sure you are including enough text in balance to what else is on your page. If you have a high ad ratio relative to your blog post, then it is likely to not be good. In short, it should be as long as it takes to cover what you are trying to say. cheers
According to me, one article each day is sufficient but it also depends on your blog subject. If you are writing blog on business or finance topics then it needed more articles each day. As information frequently change on these topics. Article should be more than 1000 words. It helps to get fast serp in google.
