want a tip? take the keywords from squidoo and use it for PPC, maybe with your lens as a landing page....With your conversion rates this could bring you some money,
I've thought about doing that, but I really don't want to have to worry whether or not I'm breaking even.
HowIi do it is use a keyword tool, one I paid for. Compare the suggestions to google keywords tool. Then I write a lens (squidoo) using those keywords. Then I write 2-3 articles with keyword phrases pointing back to the lens. After about 3-4 weeks I use the keywords that people have found the squid lens on to either write another article or two then point that to a blog post that has the same or similar product. That way I do not have all my eggs in one basket so to speak and the content is unique. This way I avoid PPC all together.
nino2007 You can't do that, because the display url has to match the final landing page url. So if you put squidoo.com as your display url, I believe there some ads already containing that url.
Im not sure but I do not believe you can use squidoo as a landing page with PPC can someone clear this up?
I am not sure about it, but i think you can show your landing page url squidoo.com/xxxxxxxxxx and not only squidoo.com
This is talk about bum marketing, why would you write an article on squidoo, only to promote it via ppc.
Article marketing is very competitive. I previousy posted about this on http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=6556582&postcount=21 and gave some example figures. It was much better for article marketers before Ezine articles stopped allowing you to put links in the body of articles. I'd be interested to hear peoples views on other article sites. Share your secrets , that's what this forum is here for
The key to success in Bum Marketing is having quality content + backlinks from high PR websites. So with many backlinks you will rank high in search engines and with quality content you will be able to make sales from organic traffic. That's it.
Personally I shoot to write 2 quality articles a day, 5+ would show a significant decrease in quality which I am not willing to accept.
