Just curious to know how many DO members use AdWords to promote their AdSense site and please also tell us your earnings before and after implementing a AdWords campaign if available. Thanks!

I would be if google would implement a system where you could connect an adwords and an adsense account and use your earnings to pay for your own advertising, and you could set it to use a max % of your earnings. Would be cool I think.

Very interested to hear results from this thread though, for different types of websites.

I've used Adwords to promote my site, but my site contained not only Adsense but affiliate programs and my own digital product. Using Adwords to promote an Adsense-only site is a losing proposition, in my opinion. I do use Overture (Yahoo Search) , however, in a few cases, which is cheaper than Adwords. Sorry, but I have no numbers.

You can use Adsense to offset your Adwords expenses, but it would be very difficult to profit from Adsense alone. The way to make money from this strategy is to incorporate other revenue-generating channels into your site, such as offering products or services, affiliate marketing, selling text links, etc, rather than relying on Adsense alone.

Surely better to use Miva to get links in?
