i just wanted to know how many adsense can i put in one page..? i was told that you can put 3 adsense in one page. but sumtimes i see 4 or 5? how do they do it.
Only three adsense ads may appear on any page at one time and you can also include in links unit ad. Anymore on one page and they will eventually ban you.

you can use 3 adsense ads unit+1 link unit+one adsense search on one page. using 5 adsense ads units on a page is against the adsense tos. it may be a reason for loosing your adsense account. dont learn it
Trust me here, despite previous opinion you can have the following maximums per page: 3 AdSense for content units (standard ad units) 1 Link unit 2 AdSense for search boxes 2 Referral buttons for EACH referral product. trichnosis note - this is the 2nd time I've seen you get the number of search boxes wrong giving advice in this forum!
you can have 3 adsense for content, one link unit, a search box and 2 referral per product! so don't put up more than this limit! people break the rules and get banned, save yourself and follow the rules, an adsense account once banned is banned for ever!

Direct cut and paste from the AdSense Program Policies: - Up to three ad units may be displayed on each page. - A maximum of two Google AdSense for search boxes may be placed on a page. - A single link unit may also be placed on each page. - Up to two referral units from each referral product or offering may be displayed on a page, in addition to the ad units, search boxes, and link units specified above. It's TWO search boxes, as I said before.
