How many affiliate products do you market altogether?

Just wondering, how many products and services do you do affiliate marketing for altogether? So far I'm using 6 affiliate programs and I'm already having trouble keeping track of it all. :D

I'm also a member of CJ but I haven't found any affiliate programs within their network that might be a good fit for my site yet.

Way past the point where I could count them :) I've promoted hundreds of products/services via affiliate programs. Most of them I've not had success with and have moved on from. Sometimes I'll make a commission for something I forgot I ever promoted which is always a nice surprise!

Man, I can see how easy it would be to get carried away. I wonder how much is too much though.

In any event, I agree, it'd be nice to get a check from an affiliate I've completely forgotten about. :D

I like to stick with one or two and REALLY STICK WITH IT. I prefer to then make the site really huge, rather than have endless affiliate programs to keep track of. This idea seems to be attractive to others as well... It's a common thing for people to say, you need to be very very targeted. I think that's true if you're on your own. However, when people band-together, they can make something much more generic really fly....

I have a CJ account but having had much luck. I'm giving DealDotCom a try now (link in sig) to see if that works out better for me.

I don't like the idea of using so many affiliate programs, but on the other hand this may be the only way of finding out which one is the best and most lucrative fit for me, and then once I establish myself I can ditch all the others that haven't proved to be worth my time.

I promote 40 over products from Clickbank and 3 other affiliate programs. Important thing is to stay focused, set it on autopilot before moving to a new income stream or product.
