I’m a Adwords Advertiser & Adsense publisher, I always very bad experience with Adsense publishers, everytime I enable advertising on publisher’s sites, I get HUGE number of hits, which cost me lots of money , but nothing converts into sales, lately I been running ads ONLY on Google search page only, which resulting lots of sales. so I’m just curious does any advertisers really benefiting from Adsense program??

right now I am sitting in a restaurant/resort on Boraqcay island .. one of the very few hotels that is full during rainy season and was full almost all rainx season.
more than 6 months ago I explained the owner how to use adwords - he did within days and got instant traffic and instant bookings and "blames" his full house on adwords. his budget is 80-140 us$ per months and he is more than happy - booked out for many months ahead
while last night I was talking to a well established Italian restaurant / hotel owner - in successful business HERE since 20+ years ... with his hotel almost totally empty all rainy season.

hence YES there are adword users more than happy and doing excellent - it also is the a HIGHEST degree the result of having REAL products and real services of HIGHEST possible quality on your web site, in your business.

no matter how much traffic you have on your site coming from adwords OR any other referral sources - nobody ever converts his visit to a purchase if that YOU offer mismatches HIS NEEDS.

no matter how much you invest in advertisement it is but the true quality that convinces the site visitor to purchase or to leave your site.

it is up to YOU as the offerer of services or products to assure BEST POSSIBLE quality and to present the quality in an appealing way to the site visitors.

you have NO URL published of your site - knowing your web site may help to find other reasons why visitors turn away without making a purchase

I have content network ads enabled (I have created separate campaign for it though, so I can track it independantly). However content network budget is like 1/6 of my search network budget.

By its virtue, we should know that content network traffic wouldn't be of that good quality as of search network, but offcourse its cheaper than search network.

Its upto you to monitor and see how which type of traffic is converting well for you. I had content network budget like 1/3 of my search network, which is now further reduced to 1/6 and I may totally disable it (though I get 0.01$ CPC with content network)
