How many adsense ads does google allow to put into 1 page?

    How many adsense ads does google allow to put into 1 page? I put 1 ad at every page. But i see many sites have 2 and more ones.

    3 adsense for content, 2 Link Unit ads and 2 search boxes, but I recommend you to avoid putting too many ads on your page otherwise the user will run away

    I have a question too. Is it good to put less than 3 ads per page.

    I mean, does the number of the ads per page effect CTR ?
