    Looking around the net I see websites that are what seems just asence ad's, but if there a limit of too many, i herad or say on a forum the other day some blog was banned for having too many ad's, but since I did n't see it for myself I'm not sure if it was true, any thoughts, or anyone know for sure?

    and yes, t clarify Abhik was correct, I guess you are asking how many ad units you can place.. right?

    Regards Lynny

    ok.. I guess you are asking how many ad units you can place.. right?
    in that case, maximum of 3 ad units, 2 search units, 3 link units, 3 referral units can be used in a single web page.

    hey thanks for that... that makes me in trouble, and not for my own fault, I tried to add ads to my blog, but when I put them in I didn't like the way they looked, so removed them, or tried to remove them, and they won't delete..

    Guess I better write to google and ask for help since it is there blog, and it isn't my falt.

    thank you again.

    If you put extra code, more than 3 ad units, then the extra ones just won't appear. So, I'm not sure if there is any penalty on it or not.

    Less is more. Here's a couple tips:

    * Use large rectangles
    * Blend your ads. No borders!
    * Place at least one ad block "above the fold" (what a visitor sees before they scroll)
    * Place two blocks on a page, at the most. The best ads float to the top. You don't want ads competing with one another.
    * Visitors read from top left to bottom right. Good to keep in mind.

    These few things have served me very well. ;)
