A total of 3 ad units on a page. It depends on the size of your page.. the amount of content there.. a 75:25 ratio would be fair enough.

I was just reading the "Google AdSenseTM Online Standard Terms and Conditions" and found nothing about 'number of ....' on it at all. Maybe I missed it or maybe I looked the wrong place. I do remember reading it somewhere long ago.. Maybe they took it out due to their new 'AdSense for Feeds' which very easy could increase the number of adds to a lot (on main page with all the posts..). Please point us to where you have the information about number of ads allowed.

Ah, found it. www . google . com / adsense / policies It says "Up to three ad units may be displayed on each Web site page."
