Whats you preference for the amount of ads created per ad group? or do you prefer to run only one ad per ad group?

    Hey Pipes,

It's best to have a few running for comparison reasons. When making a new account we always have 3 ads for each ad-group. After 2 days we then compare stats for all 3 of the ads and remove the lowest performing one. We will then create a new ad in it's place to try to beat the other 2 ads, this cycle is then continued on a weekly basis. Be careful when removing the ads though, as one ad may appear to be the least performing but could be getting the most conversions.

Make sure you track your conversions via AdWords so you can watch out for this. This is easily done through the Conversion tracking link, and creating the code to place onto your signup thanks page.

    Good luck

I start all ad groups with a least 2 text ads per adgroup. Then after 2-3 days I add two more and pause the one that is doing the worst. I continually rotate text ads, to find the one that converts the best. After a few weeks of doing this, you should have an ad that is doing well and you can let the campaign fly for a bit. However, you will need to keep rotating ads to make sure your getting the best CTR possible.
