Yes I just have a question, to the people that make pretty good money with amazon, I am wanting to make 1k a month with them. If you make 1k or more with amazon, how many daily visitors do you guys get to your website? I also was seeing if I can get some advice on ad placement on my website to boost my earnings, check out my tent category pages and the actual pages of each tent.. my website is in my signature..
I get 40-50 daily visitors to most of my sites and about 300 to my top performer. I've never found Amazon's image ads for affiliates to work well so I doubt placement matters much. And sorry for being off-topic but that's a really nice looking site.
Well I decided to take my adds off and focus on selling what i'm selling. Right now it don't matter though, I'm not getting any hits. Thanks for the complement on my site I still haven't sold anything yet.
I get hundreds of them on a daily basis, but only 2 -3 orders per month and all of them are way below $50. Not really a big fan of their programs.
I think amazon.com is cheating people. They don't pay even if it was affiliate sales. I got 350 unique hits in a month to amazon affiliate links from my site having all google organic traffic and got only 2 sales.
Like any business it's a numbers game and I get roughly 80 visits per day, but they're all highly targeted as I only promote technology products that I've researched and don't have much keyword competition. This allows me to have an 7 - 8% conversion rate and a commission figure between £300 - £400 monthly and rising.
@hope2life - you not getting sales is not Amazon cheating you, it's you not getting nearly enough traffic to make any decent amount. From experience it takes 100+ click throughs per day before you start making anything worth the effort.
i get more than 20 , i promote by twitter . but maybe my account is suspended but that does not mean that many visitors, all visitors to buy it?
Despite my efforts Amazon is not working for me although I get some success with an other network. What products work best with Amazon, whatever I look at the competition is huge and I don't get a look in? Thanks
I promote technology products via Amazon UK and make between £300 - £400 a month and growing. I've gone through TVs and tablets this morning to look for new products with low competition to write about and promote and found 29, so you're are obviously not looking hard enough Daiarian?
That is some figure, how do you get the 1500 daily visitors? I get about 70 a day which are highly targeted a make about £350 a month from the UK program.
No I refute the "not looking hard enough" but I am certainly not looking properly judging by the results posted here so I have to find out what I am doing wrong. So I would greatly appreciate any tips from you successful guys. Many thanks Kind regards
Hi Daiaran Checklist (i)Choose a niche area that you comfortable with and can easily write about (ii)Pick products which are relatively new to the Amazon marketplace (iii)Make sure they either have low competition or limited data using the free Google keyword tool (iv)Make your blog articles 300+ words and include your keyword phrase x 2 an product picture x 1 with affiliate links (v)Once you're satisfied upload your blog article. (vi)Ping your site and use a feed for quicker indexing (vii)Finished Check your keyword phrase with Google after 3/4 days so see it's position. If you've reached page one then fine, but if not then, bookmark and backlink your keyword phrase to give it extra importance and to move up the rankings table. I find creating an individual blog for each product works best and I personally use Wordpress.com (free option). All the Best
