How low can oil and gas prices go? My Price is $12 for Oil, So put your number and If possible reason.
Nothings seems to be unreasonable anymore. A couple years ago people would laugh at anyone who'd suggest that oil prices would fall below $28. I'd say $25. Too much at risk. I understand it's all done using dirty politics to weaken certain economies, but it can backfire big time if the pressure is continued to be applied.
Once Iran gets it's oil onto the global market the price will fall to $15 a barrel. Solar is the investment of the future. Dump your oil shares now.
Most oil producers are still able to operate profitably at these prices. Saudi Arabia can operate profitably at $10 per barrel according to one source. Of course, supply will shrink as smaller, less profitable operators close down as prices continue to plummet. That, in turn, will cause prices to go up again as demand is not likely to decrease any time soon. Some analysts are predicting that it will be up back to $40-$60 per barrel by the end of 2016. On another note, I would love to cover my roof with solar panels and we do face south, so it may be a possibility in the future. A relative just entered into a contract with a solar power company that will put solar panels on her house and in her yard and produce her electricity for her at half the cost of her current electric bill. Since she is not paying for the cost of the panels or installation and her electric bill is cut in half, it seemed like a no-brainer to her. I would prefer to buy my own equipment and pay no electric bill at all, but I may wait a bit longer for technology to get even better and cheaper.
Now Iran brings more oil in market and I think till the end of the year will go under $20. But am sure Arabs will start a war so it pops the prices up again.
However low they go the true reduction will never show in the prices at the pump. And in reality thats what most people are concerned with
