.94 yesterday - total! down from an average of $6 two months ago same clicks, around the same visitors I've been seeing this spiraling downward despite every attempt to figure out why I did start up a new site recently and have been actively promoting all my sites but should I be penalized for that?
Try to filter your ads. Also, you can add ads tracking to your ads. This way you know where are those clicks coming from.
I wouldnt. I've tried filtering my ads using AdsBlackList.com, and my earnings went down. It would be nice if you could specify the site.
lowest day in 25 months for me, btw plus all of my highest days since I signed on with adsense were all in the first six months of 2007 I read somewhere you shouldn't have too many in the filter, there are 24 domains in my comp ad filter now I didn't think adding my sig was appropriate but my main site is readingpafire.com I've never really seen huge success with the site but I could always pay the bills
it did not work for me so i went with someone like burst or 247 media. not much different but you get more corp ads. makes your site look more legit i guess if you are trying to commercialize it
I filtered some websites and actually moved ad down lower on the page (index) and have seen a slight improvement in click through and income. too short a time to know for sure. first time in 16 months I will not be receiving a deposit
may be your websites' rank in google index drops or it could be the effect of 'smart pricing' put by google.
Filtering may or may not work. Not enough info from the original post. Are vistors and impressions up or down? Are clicks up or down? Is ePC up or down? Is eCPM up or down? Etc?
Every time I stop filtering, my CPC went up. That leads me to believe that I don't know which sites to filter.
I use the Google Adsense Preview Tool. the tool shows you what ads you should be getting if your site is properly optimized. DP has a similar tool, http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/adsense-sandbox/ think it has been written (and proven) that certain popular keywords sites do not pay well, i.e. ringtone, cellphone, download to name a few. I also filter sites that use my keywords for search terms to sell things, i.e. ebay, yahoo. i.e. you can buy "your keyword" products at you can right click while hovering over the ad and choose properties. the url will have the sites domain in the code and you can then get the domain to filter. *be careful you don't 'left click' the ad! thanks to all that answered this thread. I have been doing some tests on filtering, placement and geo targeting with advertising. It came to mind that they may lower your publisher income so you have to advertise which then gives them their money back. Adpubster my impressions for july, aug, sept are within 8-10% of each other so are clicks epc, ecpm. there are no dramatic changes except the income from june has steadily gone down. this month is my 'christmas' as it was in that it is a busy time for one of my sites so naturally the stats are up. at least I have that going for me.
www dot mysite dot com and just mysite dot com goes to the site site: www dot mysite lists 5000 pages indexed. can only view up to 1000 and suspect other pages are dynamically produced there was no "Omitted results link " also my top followed keyphrase is still 11th position good point toufique ahmed
