Will I Live to see 80?

Here's something to think about.

I recently picked a new primary care doctor.

After two visits and exhaustive Lab tests,

he said I was doing 'fairly well' for my age.

(I just turned 60.)
A little concerned about that comment,

I couldn't resist asking him,

'Do you think I'll live to be 80?' He asked,

'Do you smoke tobacco, or drink beer or wine?'

'Oh no,' I replied.. 'I'm not doing drugs, either!'
Then he asked, 'Do you eat rib-eye steaks and barbecued ribs?
'I said, 'Not much... my former doctor said

that all red meat is very unhealthy!'
'Do you spend a lot of time in the sun,

like playing golf, sailing, hiking, or bicycling?'

'No, I don't,' I said.
He asked, 'Do you gamble, drive fast cars,

or have a lot of sex?'
'No,' I said.

He looked at me and said,...




'Then, Why You Even Give A Shit?

This reminds me to drink less and eat less of the red meat

 

Really Funny!! But now I'm left questioning myself. Why? he he

 

I want to live as long as I can (that I am not a true burden to others) I want my life to have quality and I want to stay around to watch my daughter grow up and future grandchildren but once I get immobile and more of a burden to be around than a pleasure, than I will be ready to go to the everafter

 

I live for the moment and doens't worry about what's gonna happen to me next moment...this is the way i enjoy life to the fullest.

 

I want to live forever! Why should it ever end!

 

i want to live to 70, that is ok.
it seems woman can live longer than man.
As i see more grandmas than grandpas....ahah..

 

Well i want to live till 90,because i have to do lots of work and l wish long life to live with my partner.

 

Good one... If you are not doing anything... you are as good as dead!

I would love to live... only till I am able to enjoy the last three in the list!

I want to live forever. Who would want to die when the year 3000 is coming up...? I bet the folks from 1900 would have loved to see 2000. Now you know how I feel...

It's no use to live long if you're not happy...

I guess it either you lived your life to the fullest but die like 10 years early or live life so you will live till 100 but live a shitty life.

 

I'd like to live long enough to see my lovely children get married and have children of their own.

This is a very unique subject. but i dont think if we can actually live as long as we wish to. wish it was like that. then everybody would have been immortal i guess.
