How long you got your first payment after being affiliate?

It is young-and-old-affiliates have asked question and it seems a little out. But most time they titled “I get my first payment” and something like this and then other affiliates congratulate.

Here you can post your feelings when you got the first payment. Besides excitement, I think there must have something else. So just post here. It is also exciting to know your feelings.

 

I got my first affiliate sale in less than 30 days, but it took another month before I met clickbank requirement to issue me a cheque. I was happy when I received my first payment but not exactly overwhelmed, coz after deducting my PPC cost, I was merely breaking even. I see it more as a learning curve at that time.

 

Got my first sale in 25 days. That was almost 2 years ago.

Since then, it's been an up-down journey.

 

Do you promote many products or just only one or two or three? Most of affiliates find new and best selling and the most profitable niche to ensure a long-term benefits and they always do this.

DLWEB: I think you can increase your PPC cost and overexposed your products to make big earnings.

 

I made a clickbank sale within a month of starting. But unfortunately that was the only sale. As it was a membership site my commissions have continued to grow at 25$ a month over the past year, but until now I have never met clickbank criteria for a cheque to be sent to me. Ive got over $300 in clickbank right now that I cannot touch. This is all because the payments are coming from the same credit card, month after month. I have truly struggled to get any further sales and am just watching that money keep growing. Maybe it'll be released when I am ready to retire.LOL

 

It is a pity to hear that. Maybe you should do more job to overexpose the product you promote and more and more people come to register.

After you retire, you can go to clickbank and ask them to pay you the money and then you use that money to have a happy life. I hope it would be millions that time.

 

I got 32$ for my first sale ,i felt very happy on that day.I would say"Even 10,000 sales starts with first sale" So,first sale was a sweet memory.

 

Actually it is. Just like first travle, first kiss etc. Something like that

 

Hmm.. I think it took me about 2-3 days after opening my account to get my first sale ($33). First payment came shortly after. Good memories.

 

I got my first sale in 4 days I opened the account and first check after about a year that was $131

 

It is a long time for you to get that money. How you feel during that waiting time?

 

I really not worked hard to promote the products as I was busy in my freelancing. I will just do search engine submission, rss submission and links whenever I am free. So I did not feel bad, I recently started to do promotion through ppc and article marketing for 1 hr a day so far made $50 in about 3 weeks. I am happy with what I am doing as I am just learning it one by one.

 

PPC is more dynamic and time saving, and it is the most effective when you want to earn money quickly.
