I have an idea for a site, based on social networking and blogging like a cross between facebook, twitter and a blog so only your friends network can see your blog i know theres stuff similar but I want my own so that things can be added to make it unique how long would a site like this take to code? what would be the approximate price? would anybody be interested in do it for free as a partner? I have lots of questions but so far in discussions with friends I have had 100% positive response all reconing it could be a winner
I mean its been done before. If you want a quality and GOOD site, you will need to hire a GOOD coder. Length of time, it just all depends. How many people are working on the project, how good they are, how often they work on it. Pricing again depends on how good the coder is, who you hire, what they have to do, how long they have to work for. What you want could take many months depending on the amount of people working on it and could cost ten of thousands of dollars. Unless you use some type of CMS and use add ons for the social networking. Why would anyone want to build you a website for free?
