Hi i was wondering how long it would take me to go from 100 to 1200 unique hits a day, just by SEO. I am going to hire an SEO specialist, and one guy told me it will take him 4 months. Anyone know?
well it depends. How much time and energy you invest in this site. I grew from 100 visitors / day to 600-700 daily visitors in about 1 month and a half. Just by ranking better in google. I have about 400-500 visitors from organic sources - Google,yahoo search engines. The rest is from links, partners etc. So, yeah it depends on the job your specialist does. If you rank better you will surely get more hits. This is the easiest way to get free and guaranteed traffic. As long as you rank good, you will always have people visiting your site. Well...hard to say. It really depends on your niche, targeted keywords and budget. If your site is new it might take at least 3-4 months as your guy said, maybe less if you have a decent budget. Also I think there is no one who can guarantee a certain amount of traffic within a specific time frame. It's just common sense which most of the so called seo guys around seems not to have it Sad but true
