How long will it take to make my first sale?

    I've started bum marketing and so I have 2 questions

    Assuming that I have the right niche, how long will it take to make my first sale?

    I only have about 4 articles listed on google for my key words so far. Two are on the first 1 or 2 pages for google (for similar keywords) and the others are listed on 3 and 4.

    So my second question is how many articles do I have to have published before I should see a sale?

    Thanks for all the imput. I allowed to give my site out?. I mean I don't want to get banned from DP for what they consider spam. I mean I'm new so I thought I am only able to leave my site in the signiture page once I've been a member for more than 7 days and also I have to have submited post to politics and religion or something like that?

    It depends, mostly you make sales that way in 3 months. If you try ppc you will make sales faster.

    Thanks for the advice. As a matter of fact I just started My first adwords campaign today. It seems to be a bit more difficult than I thought. Any advice? Maybe any other PPC services?

    I take 8month to get my 1st sales.that is ur affiliate link the percentage to get sales almost 0.

    One is Real Estate, Basketball. I have quite few years experience in both. I want to try and sell in the IM/ Make money online niche or market first to perfect my skills as much as possible first though. But I liked Honest Riches quite a bit. It's a great book especially for begginers.. It covers all the basics and them some. Have you ever read it? I was just wondering cause you said that I wouldn't make any sales that way

    Bum Marketing is a tough sale sometimes. I've been doing it successfully from a SEM standpoint, but not really making a ton of dough.

    I find that it works best when writing a "transparent" type of blog posting that contains affiliate links to products. I'll give you a quick lesson: See what is hot or seasonal (halloween costumes for instance)...you can look at one of my postings that has made it in the top at one time...and made me a few affiliate dollars through CheapCostumes.com (http://www.tonyrocks.com/index.php/affiliate-marketing/halloween-costume-ideas/) <- Moderator, I pasted this for educational purposes.

    It is amazing how well seasonal/trend/transparent marketing works.

    Also, get signed up with StumbleUpon...I received 2400 unique visits to that post in one day from StumbleUpon.
