    The matter is that I do not know whether I will have the free time in the near future, although I have a lot of free time now. That is why I make an inquiry about the necessary time investment.

    Like several people said.

    Depends on how well ýou learn on your own as well as apply the learned knowledge. Designing is different than knowing. I know html and css to an extent but struggle to design what I want sometimes.

    I'm a complete newbie (and a girl) and I learned HTML and CSS in 10 days. I bought a domain, picked up a book called "Beginning HTML with CSS and XHTML" at the library and I learned enough to build my first site. ALL BY MYSELF.

    - HTML/CSS
    - PHP/SQL (or similar)
    - Design

    Don't try and be a jack of all trades, it'll take you forever and you still won't be that good at any of them. Once you've got one down pat then move onto another.
