how long will it take to arrive check from paypal to new delhi

WTF!! whats the problem for them to courier our check, lame excuse...

how do we have continued success on paypal without the withdrawing options...

 

I think rather than refunding the $5 they can use it and keep it to themselves and send it atleast in a courier service maybe not Fedex at least something express in the normal post itself just like Speed post in india

 

Is RBI allowing cheques from PayPal, can anyone here give some information? I emailed PayPal customer care, they said yes, but the thing is when this withdrawal issue first stared they didn't even know about this. So can't believe them.

Ia m worried that if the bank refuses to accept the cheque after being issued by PayPal, PayPal will take huge time for making the refund and will also cost us further losses in business. Please let me know if anyone has any information.

If RBI has issues with cross border payment through PayPal, then the funds which are extracted in the cheque are mostly from cross border clients, here lies my confusion.

 

dont know mate what is the problem with them.....i have requested them again and again..if they start sending the checks through courier i wont care whether bank withdrawals are approved by rbi or not.....

This response don't make sense, why can't they issue checks by valid proof of delivery. Otherwise they ask sellers to provide proof of delivery?? Double standards!! Check by normal post sucks!! It can be in your hand or you miss it?? Again a wastage of time and money!!

 

Looks like checks are working without any problem.

yeah and i have no patience left now to wait for checks to arrive in 10-12 days...i am mailing them again and again to start fedex or some other courier company for check delivery..hope they agree....if this starts i will be more than happy....

 

I have been using paypal ever since they came to india, 6 or 7yrs ago. Back then only check withdrawals was possible and that too they only send in ordinary mail. We have been begging them to introduce courier or registered post since long long time and nothing ever happened.

 

They send the checks through ordinary mail probably to cover their inefficiency or desire to earn from idle money!
Sending the same through courier would make them accountable to give the exact date of dispatch!

yeah right..but atleast now with so many things happening they should introduce it...they are such a bog company but dont know why they are acting like this.....in present scenerio they should have been started it themselves....

 

i think it takes about 30 days for check to arrive and minimum amount you can withdraw is 150$ not 90$

 

only one idea i can give.. if you people know anyone from abroad just link their abroad bank account in your paypal and withdraw.. Later ask them to send the money to your bank account through western union money transfer like that...They will charge some $50 for $1300...
