    it mainly depends on the content ... quality content with traffic will get your blog indexed
    if your blog gets indexed then it will gets its rank on google update

    you have to wait for some time. google not index your site in short period. place some good content on it. start the promotion process.

    Traffic of 200-600 is really superb only by submitting to directories. Sure i think you have good niche running
