I site is like a week old. Im just wondering when google usually starts to rank them, I submitted my site to directory's and got some backlinks and is currently receiving about 200-600 uniques a day.
it depend on your submite of your site to search engine, the ariticle that you submite, your link with other site and bookmark and other traffic method you use it...
You are really getting much traffic for a year old site... I think no organic traffic, or am I false? My site needed a longer time to rank. Googles bot does crawling the website more deep after a little while. So take a break and wait between a few days up to a few weeks.
How do you know that? He was just talking about Google. @ItsJordan: Already created a sitemap, and submitted the whole thing within the Google Webmaster Tools?
I am really surprised how did you receive so many visits even though u say ur not indexed? Are they real traffic? I ve hold contests, promoted in social media sites, more than 90 pages indexed and 3 months old. But still I get +/- 100 visits a day. I wish you should say me the techniques for such a traffic.
From the look of things, this thread is going nowhere. OP, I think you'll have to make your question more specific if you want to get some help. Keyword competition, onsite seo, offsite seo... there are too many things to factor in if you want to make any raw estimate (even if that were possible). I don't believe anyone can answer your question without more details of your website.
Your visits are great, because the site is only one week old... Google will index you in a week or two, write at least 5-10 posts and that will do the work...
If you will read my reply earlier in this thread then you would know that I said this traffic is not organic.
I was getting these types of numbers from day one. Most of the traffic on my new site came from posting in large forums where people know me. I also post on social media sites to get traffic coming to the site. My site is less than 2 months old. I have 555 back links, and 190 indexed on Google with the new site. I will say I had a decent amount of people followed me to the new site after selling my other company. I would focus more on building relationships on forums. Getting people to see you as a resource not just some person pushing their product or service on them. No one likes to feel like they are being sold to. Hope that helps. Dan
