Whilst Google are at the top, AdSense won't be disappearing in a hurry. It's a huge revenue earner for them and they'll fight hard to keep that market share. Affiliate schemes will come and go but there will always be affiliate schemes. What I think will happen, though, is that the advertisers will start to become a lot more choosy with who they allow to display their ads.
I too agree adsense will be there for a long time and I now wait YPN go to the world not for usa only
In my Opinion, AdSense will last longer that Affiliate Programs. So keep your focus on AdSense Good luck
You are asking the wrong question here. The question to ask is, is your website/blog/business ready to withstand the test of time? Are you adding value through unique content? Or do you specialize in well-optimized recycled articles and product descriptions? My main hope is that Google gets better at eliminating crap like scraper sites (unfortunately they do make money off these) and publishers that violate Adsense/Adwords rules. Likewise, I hope to see companies get pickier with the affiliates they approve. I don't mind healthy competition, but I don't want to compete with scumbags and cheaters.
Affiliate programs in general (if that's what your asking) will be around forever. It only makes sense to use them to help sell products. But on the other hand, AdSense (not general, but a specific company) will be around for a long time and keep chaning. No fear, affiliate programs aren't going away any time soon. The individual companies/marketplace sites might, but not the method of selling a product for a commission. Joel
yes thousands of new blogs/web sites being created every day but i think that time google will be more strict to approve new websites/blogs..so that adsense can control over publishers..i think we r lucky, because our sites have approved..!next generation publisher will face more difficult
It will last untill we don't get any better alternative for Affiliate programs! Till then it is the best way to earn your money...
