How long will a site take to get indexed ?

a very important thing for getting ur site indexed in google is simple create a sitemap for ur site and just submit it to google webmaster tools or use feedburner both are very very effective.

Posting a question and giving a back a link to your site from Yahoo Answers is the best way

 

I have had sites indexed the next day by submitting to digg.com and simpy.com

 

Just a few days with a backlink or two pointing back to it.

 

my site get index within 30 minute by doing nothing then install smf + tiny portal ....
try this key word "MX5 Asia" (which i deleted the site after three week), i still rank top in 650,000 search ..
the only reason i find it get index fast due to google really favorite in dot asia extension ....
and my siggy bitching.asia also get index in hour + PR 1 after a month of posting photo + siggy in this forum ....
now i all out for dot asia domain

*Create Pages with quality content
* create internal linking
* submit sitemap.xml in google
* submit tags in social bookmarketing
* set your URL in high ranking blogs/sites/
* create blog in Wordpress

there is lots of chances and ways to get quickly index in search engines.

Your website is very new, and it will take some time for Google to index your pages. Even if you post answers on yahoo or digg, it will be indexed faster, as many members have indicated. I think try to this following thing your site will indexed in 2-3 week. Generate XML.Sitemap and Submit sitemap in Google webmaster tool. Try to submit your in Social Bookmarking Site. also Try to get Back link.

Yes jurpit.com is right that "if you have a link to your site on a popular site that gets indexed often it shouldn't take too long"

 

brand new forum site - 5 days and its up there with PR0 with update after 5 days

 

Sometimes it can take up to a month.
