i set up a website about four months ago, and the site went thru two google pr updates so far. it has had pr6 since the first pr update, but it seems to be still sandboxed, and has terrible serp with google. :( the site theme is blog resource and directory.

how long was your sandbox period with google?

the general opinion is 6 months minimum, some seem to get out early, some later.
    Don't expect anything before that.

thanks for the info. looks like sandbox period is much longer than i expected..
i heard some people got out of google sandbox within a couple of weeks. i guess they are some niche contents.

It took me 6 months. I had a similar situation where I was showing a PR5 and had about 30 backlinks showing in google, but the SERPs were terrible. After 6 months the problem was solved.

    I got out after 7 months. Now I'm #3 out of 16,400,000.
